Ingroup assignment to users

Hello

I made an update to my vicibox and after that I am having problems assigning the ingroups to the users. When you save the changes, all ingroups are deselected, losing the changes you had already made.

I made a new user, but when I save, the ingroups selection is removed.

I did a new installation of vicibox 12 on a VPS and the same thing is happening.

It only works if I go into the ingroup configuration and assign the user through the ingroup.

If there is anything I can do please I will be grateful. Thank you guys.

Vicibox 12 from ISO: ViciBox_V12.x86_64-12.0.1.iso
VERSION: 2.14-934a
BUILD: 250103-0843
Version: 2.14b0.5
SVN Version: 3902
DB Schema Version: 1724

Excellent job posting your installer/vici version. Tx. It helps!

What we need now is a description of the page you are on and buttons you are pushing. For technical support, it helps to be 100% certain we're on the same page.

In fact, it would be useful if you were to reference the Vicidial Manager's Manual Version and Page number if this particular activity is listed.

If not, at least post the page you are on, buttons you are pressing (in order) and what happens or doesn't happen that you're expecting. It seems like I could guess this from what you posted, but I prefer not to guess (time is limited). If I can duplicate your effort and get the same results and tell you what you're doing wrong, you'll probably be quite happy to be "corrected". If I can do exactly what you're doing and get a different result, then we'll need to find out why, right?

Also: Before you fire it up do be sure to perform a database check for crashed tables (never hurts) and confirm for us that this particular feature worked at one point or this is a new install and first attempt at this feature.

Welcome to the Party! 8-)

Thank you William for your quick response.

The Manager Manual refers to this option on page 85 as Inbound groups.

Users
Show Users - (to modify an existing one)
Add A New User - (to create a new one)

Hitting the checks on ingroups that i want to assign and hitting the submit at the end of the form the checks go away.

I did a fresh installation without migrating data, creating campaign, ingroups, usergroup and users from scratch and I have the same behavior.

I select all the ingroups from which the users will receive the calls and when I press submit, all the checks go away.

Updating '.':

Does this also happen when you modify the user? Or only when creating a new one?

We were able to replicate this issue, it is specifically a PHP8 issue, it has been fixed in the VICIdial codebase in revision 3909.

Thanks for reporting!
