Hi,

Anybody please need help. I really had major problem running Vicidial on Debian.

OS: Debian Lenny (testing)
asterisk version 1.4.11
zaptel version: 1.4.5.1 (using ztdummy)
libpri: libpri-1.4.1
softphone: x-lite

1. I successfully intalled vicidial on my machine except when using agent application and using the HANGUP function it doesn't work and when i logout and logged in again it adds another REMOTE CHANNEL but still i can not HANGUP.

2. Upon installing zaptel ang loading zaptel and ztdummy module i am getting an "rtc: lost some interrupts at 1024Hz.". Is this interrupt the reason for my application unable to HANGUP?

Please anybody i really need help..

Thank you

Why are you using Asterisk 1.4.11?

Did you change the "asterisk version" field in your servers table to match the version you are using?

I used asterisk 1.4 coz it is more updated... and i don't think it will affect if i changed the asterisk version on the asterisk server's table...

I think its because of ztdummy on kernel 2.6 resulting this error rtc: lost some interrupts at 1024Hz.

Does anyone here successfully fix this? i tried google it trying to fix the issue but no luck.

Please help!

Actually the asterisk_version field in the servers table DOES matter, and Asterisk 1.4.X is not recommended for VICIDIAL use because it still is not stable.

ok, does the inputted info on that table affects the operation between the asterisk and vicidial? i use that version and it works fine.

Yes, the asterisk_version info affects the operation between asterisk and vicidial. The asterisk manager interface has changed between 1.2 and 1.4.
