Vicidial Recording problem

Hi, im having problem with vicidial recording. i selected allforce in campaign recording option and 8309 in campaign rec exten. i have 8309 in my extensions.conf and i can dial it. but when i doing a test using predictive dialer i don't see the recording channel in the conference. and there's no recording being dialled in asterisk CLI. i have the latest asterisk and latest vicidial installed.

What kind of test are you doing? 8309 is for meetme recordings. Once a call gets connected and passed to an agent, then that's the time the recording gets started.

yup that's the process for the recording. unfortunately when calls get connected to agent the recording never connects to the meetme.

any recording delay on your campaign settings?
extension 8309 which if you follow the SCRATCH_INSTALL examples will record in the WAV format . How about w/ 8310 extension?

Have you changed any configs? changed anything from the agi? recompile zaptel? using fastagi?
strange a typical setup wont encounter that kind of error.

recording delay is set to 0. tried to set it too to 5. tried both 8310 or 8309 that's why my hunches are in perl scripts.

none just did what the scracth install said. i'll try to create a new server maybe i missed something.

are the crontabs running? Have you tried Manual dial recording?
