Hi all,
I just want to know the use of this line at the crontab:
### sybsys local login
touch /var/lock/subsys/local
I uses Debian Linux and this folder does not exist on the said OS, how does this affect the operation bet asterisk and vicidial.

this suppose to be in rc.local
not in crontab, kindly re-read the scratch_install
ram

so its very usefull for others who join later as a NEWBIE.

Sorry my mistake yes it is on rc.local..
Some can someone please explain the line entry i mention above?

It's not required, just something that a lot of distros include in that file.
