LEAVE 3 WAY CALL (Transfer-conf)

Hi All,
Does anybody know the function of LEAVE 3 WAY CALL on agent screen. As per agent manual by pressing this button , agent will quit 3 way confrence and let the customer and third party be in the confrence. but we i press this, all calls drop and i get disposition screen. on asterisk log, a label NEXTAVAILABLE is sent to be dialed.
Any elaboration of this feature , how to use it?
