Has anyone run a vicidial system, on a virtualsystem like XEN or WMWARE?
How did you handle the zaptel timer issue in wmware?
from what i can tell it is possible to deal with in XEN system, by doing some patching

Unless you have access to the kernel you would not be able to use ztdummy (or anything I know of). You might be able to use app_conf instead of meetme for your conference rooms (the foundation for predictive dialing) but I have heard of some issues with it from a friend.

I had set up vicidial on lylix.net vps server 5 times. I never asked how did they do the ztdummy though but it is possible. It is just that you can only use it for like 3 agents max or use it full blast for broadcast.

op3r did you encounter some problems installing vicidial on lylix?
i am currently trying to install vicidial on lylix.net but i have having some trouble just for installing the requirements alone it has lots of missing utilities that you have to install your self and another thing is it is using lighttpd.
