List Loading Problem

I've loaded a number of lists to date with no problems, but one is giving me all kinds of trouble. It loads no problem says all the leads loaded, but when I go to the list it only shows 40 records. I've tried adding these records to other list ID's, checked the list for anything strange that could be causing this problem, etc. and I can't figure this one out.

Anyone else ever come across this?

I've narrowd the problem down to the "security" field. When I load the leads without trying to populate that field I don't have this problem.

What am I missing?

Any special characters(tab, CR, NL, LF, '{}@#$%^&*())?

How many characters in length is it?
