Hi,

I have:

5 asterisk/vicidial servers
1 DataBase server
1 web server

with astguiclient 2.0.3

I want to upgrade to 2.0.4, but server by server, for security reasons. I mean, first server from 2.0.3 to 2.0.4 and if everything goes well, I will go ahead with the next server.
Then I need to know if astguiclient 2.0.3 can work in some way with astguiclient 2.0.4

You need to upgrade all servers at once. There have been several changes to the database that will make the 2.0.3 script not work with the 2.0.4 database.

What are the changes to the database? I mean, what is the deal as I am attempting to upgrade myself.

you would need to look in the upgrade_2.0.4.sql file in the extras directory of the release for database changes.

I don't know if that is the best choice, it would be better to get a cheap/old workstation and try out the new version on it than trying to run two on the same equipment.
