VICIDIAL Installation (extensions.conf)

Postby sunil_bhardwaj » Wed Feb 20, 2008 10:18 am

I started playing with vicidial and was able to install it successfully via VICIDIALNOW cd.

I noticed that it create a default phone : login > gs102 with password > test. so i logged in to xlite phone with same user.

I logged in to admin module and instantly my x-lite (user gs102) starts ringing. Afterwards, I cant make outbound calls (sip provider configured) and there's problem with extensions.conf (dialplan). It says extension is invalid (asterisk cli is appended herewith)

I have to dial UK so will it be possible for someone create a dialplan so that I can emulate & resolve the issue.

You need to configure your phone in the sip.conf and extensions.conf files and then reload Asterisk in order to use a phone.
