I am trying to make a simple checklist to check if the installation is working OK
Like what scripts should be running and how is that veryfied?
What mysql stuff should be running and how is that verified ?

running 'screen -r' should show several scripts running.
"asterisk -r" should connect you to Asterisk
"mysql asterisk" should connect you to mysql
"http://server_ip/vicidial/admin.php" should take you to the admin web page
There are all sorts of other tests you could do as well, but those are where to start
