Choppy sound when listening to agent conversation

Im experiencing a slight degree of choppy audio when monitoring a live conversation from X-lite Sip client. My clients are on IAX2.

Asterisk version?

internet connection?

codecs used?

loadavg on the server?

1.2.24 As per scratch install
10 agents on Manual (click and call) Dialing
E1
IAX2 Extensions on ULAW
Loadavg is .13 .10 .03

Have you tried another softphone? like Zoiper?

What are the specs(CPU/RAM/OS) on the workstation you are using to monitor?

core2duo 1.86 GHZ
1 GB Kingston RAM

same with other agent workstations


is it really necessary to set the Kernel Real Time clock when using ztdummy?

Anyway i found the error already, it has something to do with my other server which does the transcoding, since it had a higher amount of load average that reached upto 2
