why would two agents be "stuck" to a same conference in vicidial?
we have it setup for 50 or so conference and currently only 16 agents are signed on.

If the second agents hears another agent in the conference, they should logout and back in again and they should then be the only agent in their session.

mflorell, this has been happening constantly in the past few days. problem is that is not with just one or two agents, it's happening with multiple agents at the same time where the odds of all of them not having logged out correctly are slim; the reason for this is that they only login at the beginning of the day and logout at the end of the day, unless instructed to do so.

for this to be a problem with merely the agents logging out incorrectly, then you're talking that multiple agents and the supervisors are in on it and won't tell us exactly what they're doing.

sorry about the rant, it's just very frustrating. any thoughts are welcome.

update:

we sat down at an agent's station and went through the correct logout procedure, etc., but to no avail. no matter what we did (even restarting the PC), Vicidial always dialed the same conference for that agent (a conference already in use).

i guess my question would be, how does Vicidial assign conferences? does it check to see if a conference is in use? i now suspect the problem is in how the dialer makes the conference with the agent and not on the agent side.

ideas? questions? thoughts?

will it solve anything? is there a reason for the upgrade?

btw...can't find 2.0.4.1rc3 anywhere, latest version is rc2

http://sourceforge.net/project/showfile ... _id=613759

actually rc2 should have the logout-hangup enabled by default, but rc3 fixes several bugs from rc2
