I have finished installing 3 servers

1--asterisk- asterisk 1.4.21.2

1--Apache/php

1--MySQL

as per scratch.

whenI login in to ........../vicidial/admin.php

I log in but on top there is this error:

also

When I am trying to add user it says I am not "You do not have permission to view this page"

I am using that 6666 user id and whatever is in scratch install...

Will be good if some advice given

Did you set permissions for your 6666 user in the users modificaiton page as is mentioned in the manager manual tutorial?

yes everything is followed. Even after loggin to 6666 id when click to modify it says you do not have permissions

Is is a VICIDIAL message or an Apache message telling you that you do not have permissions?

thats the message that comes after login to the ......./vicidial/admin.php

so I guess this is vicidial message.

Can this be also a apache message?

maybe an iptables blocking problem

or and mysql bad config with the host specification

reinstalled everything again

but same message I can see displays on the browser. also cannot modify. same problem it says "You do not have permission to view this page"

sorry guys i figure it out.....

Its good to drink whisky when one is installing vicidial. it helps ...lol

somehow one of the field in vicidial_users was missing. thats "modify_users"

and this caused that problem.

so now can move forward......
