ssin14:

You really got to give us more information on the problem.

What is the exact error message and what compoent gave you the error?

Not only that, you did not include what kernel/distro, asterisk version, vicidial version, type of trunk, etc.

thanks for that

We are using all latest versions as per scratch doc except kernel 2.4

during the outbound calls, the call got cut off. when dialling out cant hear anything and it does not ring. Only 1 phone is working as can dial to that extension number but using that phone cant dial external calls

The rest cant even dial to extension numbers and external calls

In the asterisk/vicidial server the screen says when I placed /etc/rc.local
httpd (pid 7261) already running

in the firfly softphone when i dial internal extension number it hungs up straigntaway. when i dial extenal numbers cant hear anything and also its not connecting as I tested calling my Pstn number.

do put your context to your sip client?

what is the output in asterisk CLI when you tried to call?
