Dialer interface gets freezed when dialed

We are running a small setup with 7 agents and makes only outbound calls. We use Asterisk box with version 1.2.18 and astGUIclient is 2.0.3. We are facing an issue here. At times, when an agent clicks on 'Dial Next number', buttons (Dial Next Number, Hangup customer) becomes disabled which doesn't allow him to hangup and place next call. Why is this happening? The web-browser we are using is Firefox 2.0.16. The same issue is seen in Firefox 3. Please do suggest some tips. Thanks in advance.
