not much different, just make sure ztdummy compiles when you install zaptel

Thanks,if the installation is done using all the commands of INSTALL FROM SCRATCH documentation then is it fine that i can run the dialer without digium card or i have to make some changes in the instructions of that manual

Have you posted on the Jobs forum, or tried contacting any of the consultants on the partners list or the Wiki Consultants list?

installation according to the scratch install will work without any digium hardware. but trying to install in a hurry generally fails. rushing linux learning is rarely a good idea.
but no, you do not need digium equipment in the box to complete the Scratch Install successfully. You may want to go with the VicidialNOW .iso if you are in a hurry.
