Hi,
During the calls my agents complain that they are getting echo. Here is my config :
1. Database + Vicidial
2. Asterisk (both Optron dual core 165 + 2gb ram)
with a ratio of 1.5 for 20 agents with a 1MB line. All client macines are running windows with Idefisk.
thanks

Sorry if the posting did not have more info:
1. We have a 2 srver setup (Both Opteron 165 with 2GB RAM and 160GB SATA)
2. 1Mbps Leased Line - Fractional E1
3. Agent machines use Idefisk / Mozilla Firefox. They have onboard sound cards (I know we have to look into this)
4. Total ofd 17 agents dialing at 1.3 using g.729
5. Load Average < 3 most of the time (I'm guessing since we have an Opteron with HyperTransport - we are ok with loadavg <=4)
6. memory utilization - less than 100%;
7. SIP trunk (g729) to dial out / IAX to the agent machines (gsm)
Our problem:
The agents hear echo in about 15-20% of the calls. loadavg less than 3.
we checked iax2 show netstats - there seems to be some jitter in the network - but nothing very serious.
Any help appreciated
thanks
