im getting cross lines w/ my load balancing dialers. say agent02 is logging in, he/she get's agent01's line. clicking on the "show conference" link on vicidial, it will show both agent01 and agent02 line. most of the time i get this when my autodial is set to any kind of adapt. i don't get cross lines when dial level is set to ratio.

i'm using vicidial/astguiclient 2.0.1 and asterisk 1.2.10. we have sip lines going to our voip providers and are using sip softphones.

What is the loadavg when this happens?

the load average is quite low. usually 0.20. we have 10 - 25 agents dialling on 2 dialers w/ separate mysql/apache.

Your loadavg is 0.20 when you have 25 agents on? What kind of hardware are you using?

Are your agents logging out by clicking the Logout link at the top of vicidial.php when they log out?

Are your agent hanging up their phones when they log out?

we get between 0.20 to 0.40. the dialers are AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4600+ w/ 4 gig ram and sata 7200rpm hd. we're using ztdummy as timers.

we don't get the crosslines when dialing method is set to ratio and dial level is between 1 and 4. we get the crosslines if we set dial method to any adapt method, adapt intensity modifier is higher than 0 and dial level difference target is higher than 0. this also happens when we have 10 agents. our Campaign VDAD exten is 8365.

the agents logout by clicking the logout link at the top of vicidial.php. i always make sure that they do. and they hangup their phones properly.

Do you by chance have multi-line softphones? Make sure your agents arent closing mozilla without logging out because the softphone will not hang up on its own. Ensure that there are not people with 2 lines connected to the asterisk server.

Let me do some more observation and testing. Changing the Campaign VDAD exten from 8365 to 8367 helps remove the crosslines even with Dial Method set to Adapt_Tapered. 8365 is the default if you have a single asterisk. Reading once more on the load balance instructions reveals that 8367 should be used for load balancing.
