Vicidial on IPLC

Dear All ,

I am planning to install Vicidial on IPLC.

Currently i am thinking from designing prospective.

Had anyone already done this or if any one has recommendations for this ?

As the output is G.703 it cannot be terminated directly to the asterisk box and we would need either Router or convertor and Asterisk/Vicidial sitting on LAN network.

I am curious to know what should be the best way to achieve this.

Please advice.

Thanks in anticipation

if you leave this post here long enough, someone who has done it may answer. but ...

Perhaps you should be in an Asterisk Forum. Vicidial is designed to handle anything you can get into asterisk as a trunk. But there are a lot of ways to do that. You are much more likely to find a following of people who can help with the larger audience/community of asterisk at large.

You can also try the Trixbox forums, FreePBX forums, and places like asterisk-guru and of course my personal favorite ...

Apparently IPLC is just another form of a T1. If you use it as a DATA connection, you can then just use VOIP carriers.

Hello

Vici has nothing to do with, Asterisk will work on the E-1 fine. The 'IPLC' is only an E-1 ISDN PRI, so you can terminate direct on the Asterisk server with a telephony card.
