no sounds on vicidial when auto dialing

Hi

I Install the latest vicidial as per the scratch install document
on one server .
And I install asterisk ver 1.12.12.1 on another server

Both are linked together with an iax2 trunk

Everything is going well except one thing

If i'm dialing directly from my asterisk box , it is dialing with no problems.
If i'm dialing with my vicidial box alone it is dialing with no problems.
If i'm dialing on manual mode with my iax2 trunk ( vicidial and asterisk ) it is dialing with no problems.

But if I set vicidial to auto dial on 1.5 ( adapt_hard_limit )
when my agent is dialing the phone ring at the other end but when the person answer the call we can't heard them , we speak and they can't heard us .... basicely there is no sounds at all... but when I put it back to manual dialing .. everything is fine ....


what can be the problem...

this sounds like the same problem we are having, i have posted about it here:

i suspect it is something to do with the use of an IAX trunk for dialling. our next step will probably be to install a tdm card and test it with that. as nothing i have tried has worked.

Ok I have setup another vicidial box on standalone on manual dialing there is sounds but on ratio 1.5 auto dial , there is no sounds??????

So the problem is not the IAX trunk , it must be something else....


can anyone know why...

Please try the SVN 2-X version and use the sip-silence version of the transfer AGI extensions.conf entries(see the docs/conf_examples/extensions.conf.sample file at the very bottom)

I hope to release a snapsot release of this by the end of the week.

Remove dead screens with 'screen -wipe'.
Type "screen [-d] -r [pid.]tty.host" to resume one of them.
