Hi Matt,
We install vicidialnow-1.2-finalversion, when we create zap phone, dialplan should be automatically written. but dialplan is not being written.
Where is the problem , please help me.

No, automated conf file generation is for SIP and IAX only, because to configure Zap devices you have to stop Asterisk.

We have to configure xorcom and create 16 zap phones.
How is it possible with new vicidial version.
we have to create dialplan for manually.

Vicidial transfer conference is also not working with this version. (vicidialnow-1.2-finalversion)

Yes, you do have to configure Zap phones in the dialplan manually.
I would recommend using 2.0.5.1rc1 intead.

Hi Matt,
We have configured xorcom , and create 16 zap phone and 16 users.
after that call is going on without dialplan for zap phone. how it is possible.
In extension-vicidial.conf, no dialplan written automatically and we have not written in any anothet file also. Only extensions.conf is here.
when we login, phone rings and agents connects to customer.
In this case i want to transfer the call to another number , that is not happening.
When we try to transfer the call, some notice is coming on cli:-
Jul 21 09:10:20 NOTICE[8699]: chan_local.c:526 local_alloc: No such extension/context @default creating local channel
Jul 21 09:10:20 NOTICE[8699]: channel.c:2514 __ast_request_and_dial: Unable to request channel Local/@default
Please help me, we need transfer conference , it's very urgent.
It's possible with SIP phone. I have done this with SIP phone, but with zap phone it creates problem.
Please help me.

I want to transfer call to any guy with the help of vicidial transfer conference tab.
It is being in the case of zap phone, but it is being in the case of SIP phone.

Hello,
We seem to have similar issue on Vicidial. Can we try to analyse and resolve it. From all indications, it seems the community has a lot of support for sip and iax than the zap. I am presently using zap card. We can jointly look at the challenges together. It is somehow frustrating to get support based on zaptel interface on vicidial.
