DTMF problems

I have a campaign in vicidial configured and all is running well except the dial 1 option is not working. The calls go out fine, DTMF is running for agents dialing out, callers hear the campaign message telling them to press 1 to reach an agent, but they are unable to press 1 to reach an agent. I am thinking it is something simple like a setting for the dtmf but have been unable to locate anything regarding this. Can anyone help?

sip trunks

outbound calls with x-lite working fine and also manual calls by agents working fine

the person called when broadcasting hears the message fine just when pressing 1 it does nothing

we tested dtmf by calling somewhere that had ivr and dtmf tones seem to be working fine just not within vicidial

VERSION: 2.0.5-173
BUILD: 90320-0424

What do you have dtmfmode set to?

What codec are you using?

I am using ULAW as the codec.

dtmfmode=inband

When we had dtmf set to rfc2833 no dtmf tones would work if we place calls outbound manually. Once we changed it to inband they worked. But, when broadcasting on either setting the connected callers cannot press 1 to get back to the agents after the voice message is played

Vicidial itself does NOT include asterisk.

There are 2 all-in-one packages as CD images:
ViciBox
VicidialNow

Which one did you use?

Or even simpler- in Linux CLI when you type:
Code: Select all
asterisk -r
to enter asterisk CLI the first few digits after "Asterisk" displayed are asterisk version.

Code: Select all
show version
in Asterisk CLI also displays the version.

asterisk

You might want to try 1.4.21.2. We have upgraded a few clients that were having DTMF issues under 1.2 to that version and it fixed those issues.

upgrade

There are a few things in the dialplan that need to change(like 8309) and you can find instructions at the bottom of the REQUIRED_APPS.txt document on installing 1.4.21.2.

still problems

seems it is hearing the press 1 now but just hanging up the calls

we have the remote agent set to 8300 and have an inbound group direct queue setup

any more ideas would be appreciated
