I configured one of the dialers I handled to leave a message if it encounters any answering machine and yes of course it works but this got me worrying.

I know thats normal but even after 5 hours that everybody logged out it still shows that on the cli. I was wondering how do you guys go about this. Or is it just me having too much coffee?

I think we fixed this with a patch. I believe there is a new one up for 1.4.21.2 on http://download.vicidial.com/asterisk-patches/

We've been doing installations on 1.4.21.2 for a while now with good success. Just make sure you use the waitforsilence, agi, sip, gsm patches for it.
