long wait on call intervals

Postby treshkovian » Wed Sep 02, 2009 11:39 am

Hi,

We have been experiencing long wait on call intervals, i have made so many adjustments on the Campaign Dialing Method at the UI, but still we are experiencing it. Do you have any idea on an ideal config at the Campaign Dialing Method? We are running 8 seats and vicidialnow version is VERSION: 2.0.4-122..

Thanks,
Treshkovian

You need to check first what's happening on your system when dialing. Check the activity of your Asterisk CLI for any congested messages, errors and warnings. Other than that, there are lots of factors to consider.

1. quality of leads
2. bandwidth requirement
3. codec being used
4. trunk being used
5. and etc.

I would suggest you take each factor and see if they apply to your system.
