Some recordings missing

My vicidial system (2.0.5 and asterisk 1.4.24.1), is configured to record all calls from a campaign, but there are several recording files missing, even tough there are entries for them on the Record table in the database.

I don't know if its related, but if I compare two calls from the same agent, the same day, the one that does have a recording file, shows two origination events in /var/log/astguiclient/action_launch.2009-10-03, but the call without recording, only has one origination event.

I think we'll need a little more about your install. Thanks for the Vicidial version and asterisk version, that's excellent. Let's keep going: How did you install (Vicibox, Scratch, VicidialNOW?) What version of the installer? What OS (if scratch)? What OTHER software did you install besides Vicidial (If any)? How did you accomplish the upgrade to Asterisk 1.4 (which set of instructions)? (Put this all into a single line in your signature, just click on profile above, and then you can forget about it until you change your setup!)

Next, let's try some details in your request: "several recording files are missing" is interesting. And the "two origination events" is interesting as well. But what are the events? If there's only one event for the calls with the missing recording, which event is missing (you've proven than you can troubleshoot, then you leave out the details ...).

Can you duplicate the error in question? (can you cause it to fail to record, have you done a few controlled tests to see if it's a specific DID, campaign ... etc?)
