whats the difference between a ingroup trasnfer and a closer

Postby bobbymc » Thu Apr 01, 2010 4:32 pm

i see the system has different types ingroups, one for direct transfers. one is a closer and others are used for inbound transfers. What are the major differences between these and where are these settings that might be different between these features?

closer transfer = in-group transfer

AGENTDIRECT transfers are going to one specific agent

The options are the same for all of them, except in SVN/trunk where you can set the AGENTVMAIL as the voicemail box in the AGENTDIRECT in-group and have calls that timeout, no-agent-no-queue, after-hours send the call to the specific voicemail box of the agent that the call was being sent to.
