I cant figure out for the life of me how the hold option kicks in. i set the drop seconds to 30 and hold time option to 20 sec and if im not wrong the hold time option should kick in before the call gets dropped. But it still uses the drop seconds at 30 and bypasses the hold time option. The only time i was able to get the hold time option to work is when i set both hold time and drop time to the same number of seconds.
i use vicidial 2.0.5rc6. i know i need to upgrade but its hard because i added so much custom stuff for the customer i rather fix the bugs if there exists any rather then upgrading the whole system.
was there anything fixed since that version for the hold time options?

It is based on Estimated Hold time. At this point I don't remember the specifics of the pre-2.0.5 versions, but a lot has been added in 2.2.1
