Reporting

Postby roundqube » Mon Aug 30, 2010 1:35 pm

Has anyone come up with a nice system that works with Vicidial (even a script will do) that will allow outside vendor's to authenticate and pull reports for specific campaigns without actually having to log into the vicidial interface directly?

I'd be interested in learning of any ways to pull reports for dispositions or other statistics.

I added code to SVN/trunk last a few weeks ago that allows for Campaign-restricted report viewing by User Group, it even allows restricting which reports the users in a group are allowed to view.

Thanks. I'll upgrade to SVN/trunk as soon as possible.

Matt,

Does the SVN/trunk reporting features require logging into the Vicidial interface or do they have a separate php page that can just authenticate the user/vendor? What I'm looking to do is give campaign-specific reporting ability to a vendor without actually having to show them the dialer interface (menus, options etc..)

If you set the user level of the vendor to 7 and then set the reports that you want them to view in the User Group that they belong to, then they do log into the regular admin.php interface, but they can only see the Reports page with the reports that they are allowed to see, if they attempt to go to any other section it just brings them back to the Reports page.

This behavior is in the SVN/trunk release?

It is in SVN/trunk(2.4), it is not in a release yet.

I upgraded to SVN and the feature appears to work nicely. However, for the user which is in a group restricted to their campaign only, it will not allow me to export reports. Under the user's menu, I set export reports to 1 and view reports to 1. I log in as the user and am able to pull any reports, however, I am unable to export them.
