Script Runner (Admin Utility)

Good morning guys, I'm back again with another feature idea. This one is somewhat related to my SQL Runner idea which is due to be published in mDial shortly. This one allows administrators to actually run scripts on demand. Now this, this could be insanely useful or this could be a complete trainwreck so with this in mind, the functionality is restricted to the highest level (user level 9). Would anybody like such a feature within ViCi? Happy to backport this. @Matt if there is interest, can definitely put this in the extras directory to prevent meltdowns :) These utilities are currently built for single server setups only (like ViCiBox) but will be adapter for cluster setups at some point.

Thanks guys. Your feedback is always welcome!

This would be the kind of feature that the security researchers I communicate with a few times a year would flip out about, I don't think this can be safely added to the VICIdial codebase :)

I appreciate that. A lot of these utilities would make a lot more sense outside of the main application like you say, in the extras folder for example...just given the power of these utilities can wreck havoc both intentionally and unintentionally. Hackers would have a field day with utilities like this. So yeah, I mean, this collection of utilities may be bundled to run outside of the ViCi production stack...well outside of publically available folders...only being traversed via some access page that then dives into unseen directories. What do you make of that Matt? Cheers. :)
