I still couldn't get this to work:

I need someone to log in and fix this once and for all. I will pay if you fix it and we can test that it is working on new campaigns added.

can you use the time-check to send the call to a "simple" ingroup which plays your sound and then fails over to wherever you want the caller to go next?

No, if I send a call through a call menu to an in-group in that way the recording does not play either. Only if I send the call straight into the in-group does it play. Very very weird.

If I put that same recording as a press 1 option in the call menu it plays fine. So the problem is completely with time check in call menus.

can you send it to in-group WITHOUT time check from a call menu ... and use the time settings in the ingroup to make the decision instead?

Yes, sending it straight to an in-group the after hours recording in the in-group works fine. Obviously I don't want to do that because I need to use IVR.

you're not listening:
USE the IVR but do not use the TIME portion of the IVR, use the TIME portion of the InGroup to make the TIME decision.

No but I am READING pretty well. You know you are the genius amongst the rest of us idiots so I will appreciate if you could explain just a little
The call must go into the IVR (Call Menu) first before being channeled to the appropriate in-groups, right? Or is there another way around?
I don't want our customers phoning the company number, be given several options, choose option 1 and then only be told the company is actually closed till the next day. Or am I not listening AGAIN?

ewww. don't be so touchy. my goodness. come to florida, we'll take you to disney (impossible to be unhappy here! it's enforced!)
go to the ingroup FIRST, allow it to make the "open/closed" time decision and route accordingly. if you're OPEN go to the ivr (which would otherwise be useless since noone is there anyway) if you're closed set it up to drop to VM or wherever.
