if you have already rented the server and it already has an OS on it, go back and see if you can get a CD put in for OS installation. Inexpensive and most reliable versions of Vicidial installations are .iso based, so putting a CD in (even a virtual one) is necessary.

OH: And if the machine you leased is a virtual machine, kill it and get a real box. Virtual Vicidial is not viable. (Virtual CD in a real machine works nicely for installation though if the system is kosher).
