polycom error :" Could not contact boot server using config"

i am trying to configure my vicidial phone extension over polycom ip phone 335 , but the problem is that the exntension gets registered over softphones like eyebeam etc and receive calls normally , but when i register it over polycom it doesnt workwhen i enter sip details in polycom and reboot it , it says : " could not contact boot server using existing config"

Your polycom phone manual should show you how to avoid using a TFTP / boot server unless that model requires it (or is locked to a phone system). Alternately, you can set up a TFTP server and configure the phone(s) in that server instead of on the device itself. This may require a local DNS server with the ability to give TFTP/boot server information to the phone on reboot.
