Headset goes randomly into Mute, Any idea why?

Hi Guys,

Im running the following hardware
Hardware: Dell 830 server
Dual quad Xeon processor with 8GB
GoAutoDial VERSION: 2.4-309a BUILD: 110430-1642

5 x Client machines are Dell SFF intel dou with 2gb ram
OS is XP SP3
Headsets are Either USB or analog plug.

2 of the Agent clients computer are getting into mute randomly during conversation.
I was trying to change headsets from USB to analog with same problem.
Other 3 never have a problem.

All machines are the same hardware, all machines are running the same cloned HDD//OS so all machines are identical.

I use Zoiper as the soft-phone change to x-lite with same random mute.
I updated bios on client machines.
I tried changing between Firefox and Chrome (i know it shouldn't be related but..)

I'm not sure how to proceed.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

rotate logins (phone credentials), rotate agents among computers, rotate physical locations and log occurrences. you'll find a common thread eventually.
