Best 3 way call settings

Postby chicagoinbound » Tue Jul 12, 2016 7:07 pm

Hello,

I have already set the 3 way dial prefix on the campaign and made some test three way calls (including dial with customer and blind transfer). Weird thing is sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. There are times that the buttons grey out when the third party no. wasn't successful.Any additional settings needed to be done in the back end?

exten => _91NXXNXXXXXX,1,AGI(agi://127.0.0.1:4577/call_log)
exten => _91NXXNXXXXXX,2,Dial(SIP/carrier/${EXTEN},,tToR)
exten => _91NXXNXXXXXX,3,Hangup

exten => _81NXXNXXXXXX,1,AGI(agi://127.0.0.1:4577/call_log)
exten => _81NXXNXXXXXX,2,Dial(SIP/carrier/${EXTEN},,tToR)
exten => _81NXXNXXXXXX,3,Hangup

Note: 3rd party no. is always available when testing it using stand alone manual call. Campaign prefix used is 9 and 3way call prefix is 8

1) Welcome to the Party! 8-)

2) As you are obviously new here, I have some suggestions to help us all help you:

When you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method (7.X.X?) and vicidial version with build (VERSION: 2.X-XXXx ... BUILD: #####-####).

This IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "manual/from scratch" you must post your operating system with version (and the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system) plus a link to the installation instructions you used. If your installation is "Hosted" list the site name of the host.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (ie: VMware Server Version 2.0.2). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

Similar to This:

Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X-XXX Build XXXXXX-XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation | Intel DG35EC | Core2Quad Q6600

3) Goautodial is merely the installer. Useful information (especially since you included the goautodial installer version), but please note that there are other installation methods such as Vicibox.com and Manual installation. Any of these installation methods may result in virtually any version of Vicidial, though. And Vicidial is the actual Dialer Software you're using. So listing the Vicidial Version with Build (as mentioned above) is always required.

4) You've not posted any Asterisk Command line output. If you were to provide CLI output from a single Successful transfer and a single Failed transfer, we may be able to see evidence of your problem.

Happy Hunting! 8-)
