VICIDIALNOW Installation (features)

Hi,

I faced lot many problems with VICIDIALNOW and I did reinstall using VICIDIALNOW CD. I use ZTDUMMY and while booting my box I get a message

0 channels configured for zaptel

When i issue ztcfg -vvvv
it again says :

ZAPTEL CONFIGURATION
Channel Map
0 Channels Configured

modprobe zaptel and ztdummy doesnt return any errors and lsmod is also normal.

I simply booted from VICIDIALNOW CD and installed VICI so DOES this means the VICIDIALNOW is not configured for ZTDUMMY by default. If not, thn what changes need to be made?? I googled around but didnt grasp much.

yea thats most likely because ztdummy doesnt have any channels man.. only if you had a physical card with "channels" would it show that you have channels configured..

What problems did you encounter?

vicidialnow default install use ztdummy as a TIMING device. So it should use ztdummy to create meetme rooms not channels.
