When vicidial makes a outbound dial,must it be with softphone(x-lite)?If vicidial can make a outbound dial without softphone,how to configure?

Vicidial uses asterisk to make call but you need something to connect to asterisk and make calls . For windows a simple sip softphone will do or else you can get SIP hardphones/ATA or a FXO/FXS card from DIGIUM to do that . Softphone is cheapest way to do it but hard phones are much more reliable .

When I make a manual dial with a new added phone in vicidial,it can get through,but there is no voice.I can get through with softphone and there is voice.It is good completely with old phone(such as gs102) in vicidial.
