Survey script hosed w/ conf files included in VicidialNow?

I can now dial out manually, via auto, predictively, and can have the survey script call out and play the audio file but it does not receive the DTMF input back from the recipient's phone. Is there something else that needs to be done beyond adding this to extensions.conf which is mentioned in the agi file:

exten => 8366,1,AGI(call_log.agi,${EXTEN})
exten => 8366,2,AGI(agi-VDADtransferSURVEY.agi,${EXTEN})

???

Ok... so there are more steps than simply adding the above snippet to the conf file?
