Flash operator panel

I installed Fop on the VicidialNow server. The Fop proxy seems to be running ok since netstat gives a "listen" status on port 4445
However the flash client can not connct. If I telnet the server ip/port it says no able to connect. Nmap dont see the port.
I issued a "service iptables stop ". No gain.
I deleted iptables file to make sure nothing is blocking the port and the problem persists.
What else should I look to enable the port?
