also verify that you are not getting "congestion" from your provider (this will eat through leads very quickly). I've known providers that would detect a low ASR and essentially "shut you off" for two minutes at a time. Each time it happened, the client experienced the system going through "congestion" leads very rapidly and completely emptying the hopper.
All the client knew was "hopper empty". By the time they noticed, the system would come back online ... so they raised the hopper level to avoid running out. But each time it happened, they'd go through more and more leads (as the system got immediate "congestion" and dialed again). Finally they called me and I noticed that if they stayed below their alloted channels farther, they would not get "penalized" by the ASR detector.
then they were dialing slower, but steadier and did not wipe out 1000 leads without actually dialing them any more.
so: why does your hopper get low?
