can connect to ftp

im issuing the command ftp (serverip) on my asterisk im getting a connection refused can someone help me thanks

to my knowledge ftp is not a Vicidial command. if you are having a problem getting an ftp server to respond to an ftp request, please seek a forum that deals with it. if this is on a vicidial server and in vicidial somewhere, please provide much more information.

however, even then, please test the ftp server with alternate software and determine that it works before trying it on your vicidial server. vicidial is not capable of transferring data to an ftp server that does not respond.

Post your resolution especially if it's dumb. You gotta think there's some other guy out there going to make the same silly mistake. Make his life easier! When he enters what YOU did as a search string, let Google bring him here to fix it!
