Chanspy

Postby gonzalezgjaime » Wed Jul 22, 2009 12:28 pm

Hi to all, i have vicidialnow running with no issues, but i have another set of agents dialing manually with phones, no pc's.

I need to monitor those agents, so i inserted a chanspy code in extensions.conf, the code works, it asks me for my password and then the extension i want to monitor, but i can never hear the call.

I remember in trixbox i could use this code in extensions_custom.conf. where in vicidialnow could i insert this code so i can use it??

Thanks in advance for your help.

Any reason you don't use 0 + session ID to monitor them?

Hi Matt thank you for your reply, i am not using 0 + session id because, those agents are not using vicidial they are just using the extensions with physical phones, and i have another group of agents working via vicidial which i can monitor with the session id. But i need to monitor the agents that dont use vicidial also.

Thanks in advance for your support.

exten => 71,1,ChanSpy(SIP/6001)
exten => 71,2,Hangup()

and it still does not work it just beeps but when the agent is on call i am not able to hear the call, any ideas are greatly appreciated.

well :? , i added the cc to the extensions for chanspy and that was it

for example

exten => 71,1,ChanSpy(SIP/cc117) <-- instead of just 117
exten => 71,2,Hangup()

Its always something embarrassing hehe, but the good thing is that its working now, thank you very much for your support, this is a great forum.
