NO LIVE CALL

Postby oshonubi » Mon Aug 03, 2009 2:15 pm

I am presently running Vicidialnow version 1.2. I have done the configurations based on the manager's manual. These include the carrier, did and ingroup. However, when a call comes to the system, it does not show in the agent interface rather the call is received at the soft phone without any relationship with the agent interface. I will appreciate if someone can help on this issue.

Please note the call get to the softphone but does not indicate "LIVE CALL" in the agent interface. In fact the agent interface does not load the lead nor indicates a number is calling in.

When your agent logs in to Vicidial, does the agent hear "You are the only person in this conference"?

Yes I did. I got the message. However, when the line is dialed, the agent web interface does not indicate LIVE CALL rather, the agent picks the call through the softphone.

Further, my connected using FXO card. Here is my screen

"picks the call"?

are you saying that the agent is logged in, but gets a new call on their soft phone?

have you read the manual? (the one from VicidialNOW for initial setup and the one on EFLO.net for Managers ...)

I think you may just be misunderstanding how the system works or you may have configured your FXO card's dial plan (zap) oddly. According to your output, the inbound call went first to 201 and then to 203.

What is your dial plan for the inbound call?

Yes,

Since the "LIVE CALL" did not appear, that was why we routed the call like that. The reason to that was that there live call was not appearing on the agent interface and no evidence that the call came in. On the zap configuration, it was done through the carrier section. The issue was that it was not picking the call through the agent web

My question does the ADMIN/CARRIER configuration support zap. Also what about the DID configuration. Please kindly confirm it was alright. I have posted it earlier.

I did another posting earlier. Should you not have received it, the are my configurations

For the inbound dial plan, this is what I have,

Hi William,

Kindly proffer a solution. As indicated, the deployment is on ZAP and there isn't much on ZAP in the manual. Please look at the previous posting and see if my suspicion is alright.
