Problem with call recording playback.

Postby cj911 » Tue Oct 13, 2009 6:06 pm

Hi Guys,
Sorry if this ones a bit dumb. I have set call recording to 'All Force' in Campaign settings. However I cannot find anywhere to replay the calls from. Have had a look at the mannual but can't find anything. Have had a look on the forum and have saw a few simlar issues on this. Reply to one was "Try <yourserverip/recordings> I have attempted this by putting the same into my browser but getting the following:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /recordings on this server.
Thats with me logged in as admin.
Have seen a few other people state various commands but I'm green to all of that.
Is there anywhere from with the admin/managers login where recorded calls can be located? Any user report or campaign report from where they can be picked up?
Any help with this most appriciated.

The recordings are accessible via the web admin interface. Users -> "username" -> Stats. However, you need to modify "/etc/httpd/conf.d/vicidial_recordings.conf" and allow your IP address range to be able to access and download the recordings. By default, the allowed IP range is 192.168.*. Reload the web server afterwards by running the following command as root: "/etc/init.d/httpd reload".

Thanks Gardo.
I was attempting to find the recordings from home (Diff IP) they seem to be there if I access from within the office where IP begins 192.168
The command I can cope with (/etc/init.d/httpd reload)
modifying "/etc/httpd/conf.d/vicidial_recordings.conf" loses me as unfortunately I don't know how to find or edit a specific file on the server as it has no GUI.
Might see if I can pay someone to show me how to this with Cam sudio or simlar.
