dialing a little aggressively are we? :)

Observations/questions:

1) You MUST post your system information. I suspect you are using vicidialNOW since that is the forum you chose to post on, but even that is an assumption. Please post your Vicidial Version and Build, your asterisk version, your method of installation (ie, vicidialNOW version), and any Other Software on the box.

2) When you have the ratio set to 1:1, does it dial 1 call for each agent successfully?

3) You have the system set to "adapt" wich means you should not be able to set it via "ratio" so you must be setting it to a VERY high drop %age OR overriding the adapt. Please fill us in on exactly what settings are involved here (or simplify it and change to ratio ... since you are not very worried about drop %age, obviously).

4) What is your server load?

5) Does your carrier IMMEDIATELY shut you down when you attempt to dial 63 simultaneous calls?

6) Can your network connection/trunking system handle 63 simultaneous calls?

7) Have you looked at the CLI in Asterisk to see if it is indeed attempting more calls, but failing in the attempt?

8 ) Have you looked at the "Screens" or astguiclient logs to see if vicidial is trying to make calls or if it believes it does not need to?

9) Why "Up Count 3rd NEW"? Why not "down last"? (I've read a few references to those with issues using the "count" orders.) If you don't have last names, set the last name to a random number when you import your leads and you'll have RANDOM dialing. Which beats UP Count 3rd hands down.

1. This is my top result in my console running Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33GHz with 4GIG Memory Ram.

top - 12:32:36 up 6:42, 3 users, load average: 0.62, 2.37, 2.70
Tasks: 156 total, 2 running, 154 sleeping, 0 stopped, 0 zombie
Cpu(s): 10.7%us, 2.7%sy, 0.0%ni, 85.6%id, 0.3%wa, 0.2%hi, 0.4%si, 0.0%st

Swap: 1044216k total, 2780k used, 1041436k free, 3496184k cached

2. The call is ok at 8:00 am - 6:00 am EST time, and after that, calls won't go through already.

3. We don't have to worry the dial level since we are cracking up the leads cause AMD is turned On and most of our leads are AM's.

4. 43 - 15% in reports tab.

5. Nope we have lots of channels with our carriers

6. Yes, it can handle

7. i have looked but there is no sign of call being establish since there are no calls placed in the dialer.

8. 2503.asterisk (Detached)

9. We are using UP 3rd New coz we like to dial leads that are recycled before it dials NEW.

so ... installation method? vicidial version and build? thanks for listing the hardware, though. that's a start.
2) When you have the ratio set to 1:1, does it dial 1 call for each agent successfully?
2. The call is ok at 8:00 am - 6:00 am EST time, and after that, calls won't go through already.
ok, and when it "won't go through already", did you try 1:1 ratio dialing?
3) You have the system set to "adapt" wich means you should not be able to set it via "ratio" so you must be setting it to a VERY high drop %age OR overriding the adapt. Please fill us in on exactly what settings are involved here (or simplify it and change to ratio ... since you are not very worried about drop %age, obviously).

That doesn't quite "fill us in on the exact settings". Please do.

So try Ratio first, then verify that your leads have valid #s (vicidial can get "lost" if it dials bad format numbers and this can be the results).

Then show a sample of your cli during this problem

And a sample of your astguiclient logs during this problem would not be a bad idea (it's calculating the number of calls to dial, what criteria is it using?)

check your live calls table and see if it agrees at all with "show channels" (which is Asterisk's version of "live calls").

If you don't find anything in the above, we'll need to look at your installation method to see if something is fundamentally wrong. so please do clue us in as to that as i asked for before (it helps, really, and it IS a requirement for the free help).
