Hello,
Just fisnished the installation with 1.2 final.

having two nics.

eth0 : 192.168.1.2

eth1 : 121.249.65.62 ( ISP )

done every thing.. even tried with changing the default IP ( 192.168.1.2 )

and every time done with update_server_ip

but them also I am not able to ping my router wich is having ip 192.168.1.1

here is my net config files discription

eth0:

DEVICE=th0
BOOTPROTO=static
HWADDR=00:EQ:*************
IPADDR=192.168.1.2
NETMASK=255.255.255.0
GATEWAY=192.168.1.1
ONBOOT=yes

now I have disabled the eth1.

but still not able to ping the gateway...

AAny suggestions please ?

this is the output for route -n

every thing seems to be ok... have checked the cable too for safer side its working fine with another system.

then you should be able to ping the gateway configured.

But have check if the cable is really connected to your local lan?

If in doubt, ifconfig.

then ping the server from any pc connected to the same switch. If it didnt reply then something is wrong with the cable.

have you tried to restart the network by issuing system network restart?

Thanks for your help,

sort out the issue...removed all lan cards and kept only onborad lan card.

and reintstalled.

Installation completed.. now server ready for test...

Will do the testing and let you know about the results...

but the while I try to call iot says that on Xlite - not found

Hello, getting following error on asterisk CLI

Apr 28 19:50:25 NOTICE[28027]: chan_sip.c:11316 handle_request_register: Registration from '"cc100"<sip:cc100@192.168.1.2>' failed for '192.168.1.106' - ACL error (permit/deny)

what may be the reason ?

I have the same error. All the posts that I have found point to the following solutions, none of which worked for me:

1. sip.conf> permit=0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0
2. reload Asterisk after making changes in sip.sonf

I never used to see this before but it seems to appear with newer releases more often. I have currently deployed 1.2 in a test VMWare environment.

after making that change are you able to dial predictive ?

after making the changes I am able to dial manually but cant dial predictive.

I have a dedicated server in a data centre,. I have to do things remotely so I can't burn the CD.
Id there an alternative way to install?

i have a problem with the step of the vnow pdf getting started
"page16of17" , after dialing the lead,i have message tel me 'You are currently the only person in this conference'
i do not hung up but the agent interface dont hung up automatically and the call still up.
can you help me the localize the problem,

Could you please tell me the procedure to change the language in the agent and admin interface in Vicidialnow !!
it's possible te do that in vicidial before to login, but in vicidialnow
only english language is active;
