Not a valid conference number

Ok, so when attempting to login to vicidial i was getting an error stating that there weren't any active sessions. I read on another thread that the conference IP's may be pointing to the wrong address.

This was completely accurate. I attempted to modify this address but when i would submit my changes and show all conferences the changes wouldn't take. I deleted the first conference and added it back making sure to keep the conference number the same.

Now i can get into vicidial but when i answer it tells me that the conference number is not valid. Any ideas?

If you changed your IP address, something went wrong or you did not follow the instructions on what to do after you changed your IP. GoAutoDial has a function for this, and Vicidial has another. Check GoAuto's manual/wiki and / or run the ADMIN script to update the server ip in /usr/share/astguiclient.

All you need is the OLD IP and the New IP (you must run the script one time for each old IP address you may have used). It does NOT hurt to run this script with IPs you didn't actually have, or to run it more than once. And REBOOT WHEN DONE. LOL
