Configuring the DID

Postby bghayad » Wed Mar 27, 2013 6:44 am

Hello;

VERSION: 2.4-309a, BUILD: 110430-1642, GoAutoDial CE 2.1, 2.6.18-238.9.1.el5.goPAE (SMP), Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz, Single Machine.

I configured the DID but I do not see any thing generated on the extensions-vicidial.conf regarding to this DID although I selected to be Active. WHY?

DID Extension: 990
DID Description: 6abeebyDID_Internal
DID Route: CallMenu
Extension Context: Default
Call Menu: 6abeebyWelcomeMenu

But nothing is appearing at extensions-vicidial.conf to be related for this DID, what I am missing?

DIDs are managed through AGI scripts, not through the dialplan.

IE: You will never see anything in extensions.conf for a DID. The existing entry in extensions.conf for the "trunkinbound" context accepts all calls and passes them to AGI control. At that point the AGI perl scripts take over and use the Database to control call flow. No dialplan entries.

Good questions, though. :)
