Asterisk config files not updating when added to the carrier

Postby theman2000k » Thu Mar 11, 2010 4:46 pm

VERSION: 2.0.5-174
BUILD: 90522-0506
Vtiger5.0.4

I am having a heck of a time with my latest vicidial install. Besides having problems with my webform I am now noticing that my sip info that I put in under carriers is not showing up in any of the config files in the asterisk directory.

The only thing I have done different on this install was changing the IP address of the server.

it's not showing in sip-vicidial.conf or extensions-vicidial.conf?

Do you have includes in the sip.conf and extensions.conf files?

Do you have your servers set as active asterisk servers?

after you changed the ip address of your server, did you run the script that updates the ip address in the system?

vicidial will "command" the server at IP address xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx to write this file ... if the ip is wrong, it will ignore the command and not write the file, even though vicidial is ON the server that is supposed to write the file.

this is set up so multiple servers can be controlled.
