Hi -

I have configured Asterisk with Vicidial and I am using Twinkle as the softphone and my VoIP provider is local phone. We are trying to call australia from India, now when 2 of our agents call from the twinkle it works fine but as soon as 3rd agents calls it start giving me 'Sorry this is not a valid extension, please try again' for all the users. Someone, kindly help

We are using prefix to be 9 in the campaign and omit code as Y

In the SIP settings for outgoing extensions we are using (exten:1)

Please reply back and help me getting out of this problem

Thanks

My first two agents cc101 and cc110 can call simultaneously but when cc102 (3rd User) makes a call he gets an error message.'Sorry! this is not a valid extension please try again'.

(Hi Gardo, I'll just be a minute, just passing through ...)

Please post your entire setup. I will assume your installation method is VicidialNOW, but you did not mention which version of VicidialNOW and there IS more than one. You must also list your vicicial version and build (from your admin screens) and your asterisk version. Also list whether there is any other software installed on this box. Thank you. This is a recording. LOL

Now:

Forbidden - wrong password on authentication for INVITE
from your pastebin.

first of all, this means your password is wrong, but it shows something a little deeper as well since it's your third direct call without being logged in to a meetme room.

what is your channel limit through this provider? (if you make two successful calls and then bork at #3 using the same dial plan ... you may have a two channel limit).

more importantly: are you trying to use vicidial or just asterisk?

Have you read the manager's manual and followed through the exercises to get your system up? or the VicidialNOW quick start instructions? :)

Thanks William!

I am checking the channel limit with localphone, as the password cannot be wrong otherwise first two agents would not have been able to make calls.

You're also missing the "o" switch in your dialplan. This is needed for Vicidial to function properly.
