Saving data entered on agents screen after call has ended.

For the agents screen, if notes are typed in the comments box before the call is hung up, notes that the agent may have added, or customer details were changed - the new data is saved - however, if notes are entered after the call has ended, nothing is saved - same thing with the web form button - we have agents that are used to writing the information on their notepad, and it is easier for them to enter the information after the sale - is there a way to prevent this.
